Violinist and Violin Teacher

Why Pay for Live Classical Music?
When planning weddings and other events with live musicians, many people automatically turn to solo violinists.
-
Live music brings elegance and class to any event.
-
Live musicians can instantly alter the style, mood, and dynamic level of music to adapt to a variety of circumstances.
-
Experienced live musicians like myself can customize timing of pieces precisely to fit any aspect of any event, such as a bridal processional.
Why hire me?
-
I play on a high-quality instrument that offers a full and rich sound.
-
I provide a high level of musicianship and skill as a violinist.
-
I have many years of experience performing in all settings, from concert halls to churches to beaches.
-
You will deal directly with me. I do not have a manager or any other middleman.
Where will I play?
-
I perform at events throughout West Michigan. I am located in Holland, Michigan, and play in cities ranging from Muskegon, Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Grand Rapids, Allendale, Hudsonville, Jenison, Zeeland, Saugatuck, Douglas, Fennville, South Haven and beyond.
-
I play at churches for weddings, services, and funerals.
-
I play at restaurants, reception halls, and corporate headquarters.
-
All I need is a space about 4 feet square, one armless chair*, and an electricity source (for my music stand light) if the location is dark.
-
I will also play outside under the following circumstances:
-
I require a shady location or tent covering, as direct sunlight is harmful to the varnished wood of my instrument.
-
Temperature must be above 55 degrees Fahrenheit.
-
If it is raining, even slightly, shelter needs to be provided (preferably with sides). If any rain is blowing into the shelter, I cannot play until the rain subsides due to the valuable nature of my instrument. There is no refund under these circumstances.
-
*For events approximately 60 minutes or less chairs are not necessary--I am happy to stand.
